But some of you, I know, are looking for a simpler way to do it – that will get you SEO results and improved rankings much faster. So, here it is.
This SEO tip is PURE GOLD – and if you apply it, I guarantee you will see more traffic on your site. Instead of writing a long, detailed post on how to do it, I just recorded this screen capture video to show you exactly how to do it.
Watch the video now!
Okay, for those of you who are too lazy to watch the video or just want a review of it, here’s the basic idea:
Super Awesome Guest Blogging SEO Strategy
1. Find A HUGE Blog
You know what I’m talking about – a site like Huffington Post, Social Media Examiner, TechCrunch, Gizmodo, etc… A site with millions of visitors a month!
2. Find A List Post Where Guest Bloggers Contributed
Find a post on that huge site where guest bloggers contributed content (usually big list posts are structured this way).
3. Click The Links For The Guest Bloggers
Go to the guest bloggers websites – if they themselves are bloggers, then contact them and ask them if you could write a guest post for their site.
4. Follow-Through and Write The Guest Post
Then all you have to do is follow-up with the bloggers who respond, write a guest post for them, and ask them to link to you in the signature – BAM! You’ve now got high quality backlinks coming from blogs that have been linked to by the biggest, highest quality website(s) in the world.
Do you want to setup your own blog using WordPress?
Then this video tutorial is for you! In it, I show you step by step how to setup a self-hosted WordPress blog.
How To Setup A New Blog
Step 1. Buy A Domain
You can also use your business name as the domain name.
Step 2: Get Hosting
For hosting, I use Bluehost. I like Bluehost because they have 24/7 customer support (just like GoDaddy) and whenever I call them, they help me with any problems I have. It’s invaluable to have someone you can call on for technical support when you’re running a business online!
Step 3: Install WordPress
Next, you have to install wordpress on your Domain. You’ll have to update the Nameservers on your domain to the Bluehost nameservers. Don’t worry if it sounds too technical, all the details are in the video above and it just takes a few clicks.
Step 4: Post A New Article
Once your blog is installed, you’re all set! Now it’s time to post you first blog article.
Congratulations! You are now a blogger 🙂 Welcome to the world of blogging!
Got any questions about setting up your blog? Post them in the comments below and I’ll answer them ASAP.
If you haven’t heard of Technorati, it’s one of the biggest blogging networks and your blog’s Technorati ranking has become industry standard for determining how successful your blog is. (Although, it says nothing about how PROFITABLE your blog is!)
I highly recommend going to Technorati, creating an account and verifying your blog. To verify your blog, Technorati will email you a claim token. You have to paste that claim token code inside a blog post and it must show up in your RSS feed so Technorati can verify that you do indeed own the blog. (Sorry, you can’t claim someone else’s blog!)
So, here’s my Technorati claim code. I hope the software engineers over there accept it… J3X6ECHCWRBE
